My crazy life!!!!

Hello Everyone!!! I know it has been forever since I have written a blog, but I promise I have a good excuse!!! Well for starters Morgan closed on the house April 4th and we began moving that day and now we have been here for 2 weeks and 2 days. Morgan got a promotion at work, the day after closing,  being the assissant for training which he deserved and I am extremely proud of him. The house is coming together slowly but surely. We still have pictures to hang and his office to complete, but all in all it feels like home. When I get everything completed I will be sure to post lots of pictures. I hope to have it done by the time I start school which is May 23rd. I love the neighborhood and the serenity out here. We live in the country kind of , but the mall and the beach are not far away. I am just excited  we do not have to move for a very long time.

                                                                                                

I hope everyone had a good Easter! I know I did :) Saturday was a day off with nothing to do, but hang out with Morgan. He came home and said the Easter bunny came early and to go look.  Well just to clarify we don;t do anything on the day of. Christmas was 2 days early, Valntines day was a day early and apparently Easter was too! Nontheless I had a huge basket full of jellybeans, peeps, a lovin spoons( frozen yogurt ) giftcard ( well that was from duke), a sweet card, some kit kat bars, and a pink fishing rod.

                                                                                     

 We took some jellybeans, went to chick fil a and grabbed  breakfast and went fishing!  I loved every minute of it even though I didn't catch anything. The weather was beautiful, the sun was out, and for once I was not at work!!! My mom came down on Sunday with my pressy girl and had Easter Sunday with us. She brought me a pink swifter from the Easter bunny and some things for school. Some how this Easter turned out to be a Christmas for me :) I am very appreciative for it though.Duke and Pressy got Easter baskets from the ganma and I honestly think they knew what they were seeing that both of them were face down in their baskets  :)  We went to Morgans parents for a yummy Easter dinner! I have never had coconut pie before and I probably shouldn't have eaten it then either. It was amazing in every way! lol Mom and I spent Monday and Tuesday together when I was't working so it wasn't that much time, but she still got good laughs at me and my craziness. Yesterday I got off work at 12 ,since I went to work at 6:45am, and cut the grass, pulled up weeds, and put fresh pinestraw down. It looks so pretty now and wth the rain I might be mowing next Wednesday as well. I figured I would help Morgan out since I have been a pain the in butt this week. It's just a girl thing. lol.. It's no excuse but who else is going to listen/ignore me :) lol Today is rainy so I am going to clean the kitchen and take a nap with Duke hoping that when I wake up the sun will be out and I can go run outside!!

It's a fun crazy life!

 I am sitting on the couch, drinking out of my Easter cup, and enjoying the silence. Duke is curled up beside me and Morgan is a work. I haven't written in about a week so here is what I have been up to. So last week consisted of work. Well not all of it. Ethel came to Savannah and we spent time together and did mom and daughter things. We were supposed to go to the beach, but my lack of being a morning person prevented that. We went on Monday and got a message at Sweetwater Spa and o my goodness.. It was heavenly. That lady gives the best head rubs EVER!  I'm like a dog if you rub my head I am sure to stay for a while, but if you give me a treat and rub my head we are best friends for life! LOL Morgan and I took her to see our potential house ( he closes next week) and then I baked a key lime cake for a treat :)  We had a great time and she took Pressy home with her for about a month. So the rest of the week I worked and so did Morgan and FINALLY Saturday came.. WOOHOO!!!! One of  my friends, Chance, got married in Hilton Head this past Saturday to Aly:) The wedding was beautiful and so was the bride. The whole reception from the food, to the cake, to the music was just wonderful! O and so was the bartender :) This was the only wedding I have been to where they had chocolate pecan pie AND peach cobbler.. GENUIS idea!  Jaime and I spilt each dessert so we didn't look like the fat kids of the party. I have to say one of the best weddings I have been to. Congrats Ya'll! Sunday we met up with everyone and went to lunch and laughed about the night before exchanged hugs and came back to Savannah to pick up Duke from his aunts house. He has been asleep on the couch since. Need I say more?? So for the rest of the day we experience hail, lots of rain, a ruined hair do, and an extreme lower in the temperature, but to end the weekend I made yummy stuffed manicotti and garlic bread, we watched some gun show and then coming home. Now I don't know if anyone that may read this has watched that show yet, but omg I can not watch that and not have a melt down! It's almost impossible. I mean I cry at everything already and that is like a button on lifetime at 10pm Sunday nights. Really sweet show though! But fast forwarding through my sleep which apparently it stormed really bad here last night, but I didn't notice! Wonderful sleep :) Today I went to Armstrong for my first advisement! I am so excited to start school I could pee in my pants, but I got that under control.. atleast I think so. lol  This is the first year that I will go to summer school!! Hope they have a really good air conditoner!! I have orientation on May 20th and I start May 23rd. ( right after my 25th birthday AHHHH) Well I am going to wash my face and try to get some sleep for work tomorrow and I am sure to post another intersting day or days in the life of Hollie ..( now that is funny bc I consider myself to be pretty boring.. I mean I am couping tomorrow night and I am excited about that!!) Nite nite !

All about casseroles!!

Hey Ya'll !! Here it is Friday night and I am wide a awake again! I just got off work chatted with Ethel and Morgan and now I am looking up recipes for tomorrow night since both of us will be at home. Here lately that really hasn't happened. I LOVE the taste of home diet comfort food recipes. They are amazing and they really don't taste "diet." I have found a mexican casserole that looks like it would be so yummy , but I can mess up a mexican dish.lol.. Here is a funny story about when I made a mexican dish for Morgan.  I had just moved to Savannah and wanted mexican but I didn't want to go get it. ( big mistake) I got everything to make it and went to probably 5 grocery stores looking for a cooked chicken. I called Piggly Wiggly ( my grandaddy used to call it the Hoggly Woggly) and had them hold one for me because I was on my way! So I get the chicken and go home to make it and Morgan was coming over. O and by the way it was the first time I had cooked anything for him not baked but cooked. I got everything prepared and omg it LOOKED so good. I made my plate and He was like " this looks amazing!" Well....lol.. It was horrible. I found out when I tasted it I HATE Cumin. OMG it was gross. Poor thing went back and was putting somemore on his plate and I looked at him while I was getting cherrios and told him to stop and throw it away. He laughed and told me he didn't want to hurt my feelings, but trust me I couldn't get it out of my apartment fast enough. Chocolate cherrios were a savior that night!! lol The reason for that story is I really want to make that taste of home casserole and Morgan said the other day remember what happen last time you made mexican.. Yeah haha! I still might give it a try but just omit the dreaded C spice.:) I will let everyone know what the outcome is like. I will get home tomorrow from work at about 9 and I just want to have dinner together because it doesn't happen that often. He is finally off and being the sweet guy he is, he is taking one of his friends to get a new truck ( bc just totaled it .. he's ok though) .. Hope ya'll got a good laugh out of my story and I hope that's the last disaster I have for a while. It has been over a year and I have made some ymmy dinners  :)  I am going to watch the nanny and snuggle with Presley while I still have her ( Ganma is coming Sunday to get the baby for a month) and hopefully I will SLEEP!!!! Night night !!
